What game shows do you love? Tell me, and I'll tell you why you love them. Its important to know when you're creating game show formats. Lets chew the fat on game whos formatting. This is my favorite genre!

Game Shows are tightly structured shows built around a specific game format, usually involving contestants competing for money or other prizes, and the same format every episode, every week. Game Shows of today are more complexed and dramatic than the traditional shows of decades ago, but there is a clear line between a Game Show and shows that involve strictly talent or reality-based competition. In certain formats you do have talent as part of a game show, like, "The Singing Bee".

"The Moment of Truth". I love the lie detector, and seeing the contestant get dragged across the coals as a result of their greed. Often disturbing, but entertaining. Great example of personal drama as the center of the game.

Is it possible to combine a reality show with a game show? I mean one that has the same familiar format each week, weekly prizes for contestants, but a reality base? Do you believe that there would be a market for that? I have the concept down, and it has received a VERY good response from the few I have trusted with it. But I have no idea on who or what venue to present it to. I just need to get it registered, and then I will submit it here.
I still do not understand exactly what I need to do here after that, though.

I still do not understand exactly what I need to do here after that, though. I have written the same script that combines reality and a game show myself. I have never seen any yet, but ideas are always coming out there so just because its not popular today does not mean it wont be popular in the future. Good luck
