I see a lot of raving about writers getting their scripts "reviewed" by the producing companies. However, I do not see one where they're raving about being contacted by the companies or their work is actually being produced.

Were there any of those success stories?

Yep, lots of writers making contact with Producers.
Here's a few links with details. Most recently, this past week one of our writers landed a producing and talent deal with one of our producers and E!/Style Network (Comcast) made an official pilot order for the series. Most of the sales have been in docu-style series and reality formats.
