I read some of the other posts in the forum about the process, and how it works. I know that there is not a magical formula to all of this, but I am curious about the standard trends established by other projects. I posted a reality tv series last week. I received an "under consideration" rating from one company, but I have received no other reviews on the project. I have a couple of questions on the process based on this scenario. How often does an "under consideration" rating get put on a project? What kind of timetable usually accompanies an "under consideration" rating? When you post a project, how much time should pass before you figure that companies are not interested? Again, knowing that there are many variables and no magical equations, how often do companies log into the website to look at new stuff? Once a week? A month? Everyday? Just looking for some generalized info, knowing that there is not a perfect answer.
Thank-you!

Hi- To be able to answer your questions related to how long it takes for an executive to follow up on an "under consideration" project, and how long before considering it a pass, I'd have to be inside the Executive's head. Its a personal decision by the reviewing executive. We have executives and producers in the database scouting projects daily. Some follow up on projects they've tagged as under consideration, and others don't.

We do send out periodic reminders to executives to revisit the titles they've tagged as "under consideration", but we can't force them to click the title and make final judgement. Just like in any business, you can't only do so much to control the actions and follow-through of a potential buyer.

I'm interested to know if an Executive places an "under review" status on your project, will that prevent other Executives from viewing your work?Crying

I am a member and from everything I have read it doesn't keep it from being able to be available for other companies. One of my projects has been reviewed by two companies within only two weeks.

Congrats on getting the good review and "under consideration" status.
It doesn't have any impact on other executives viewing it, and the project remains viewable to all executives until you decide to deactivate it. SOOOO that company better buy it before it gets snatched up by another.

Best of luck!
