I submitted a reality concept project here last fall in 08 and I have quite a few "hits" as in reviews and request for script but no takers.

I feel like my subject matter is interesting and unusual enough to catch somebody's attention but then I lose them somewhere in the treatment. Perhaps too much information? Not enough? It's really tough writing a concept for something that's never been done before and make it clear how "doable" it is.

But, I am keeping this project here and I will keep trying to refine it until it reads so smoothly and inspirationaly that I can sell my vision to somebody else.

Besides, I already know the public is ready for this genre. :)

Cool you got some reviews and requests. Thats the hardest wall to get through in this biz. Don't assume its your writing, especially if you're pitching reality show ideas. More often than not, its the subject or format. If they like a concept, I think they'll go after it and make it happen, so long as you've delivered something unique that totally original. Not so much about hitting the note perfectly, as much as it is hitting the right note. Cool
